Fat Boy ( He's not fat , just thick skinned )

Fatty fatty two by four
Can't fit through the bathroom door.
Funny the first two hundred times.

Ten ton rubber bum
Leaves no room for anyone.
Hilarious the first two hundred times.

Mama Cass, Fatty Arbuckle, Billy Bunter,
Fatso, fatty, fatguts, blubberboy,
Gutso, fatarse, fatshit, lardo,
Lardarse, meatloaf, big guy,
Pig , piggy, pigguts,
Useless , lazy, go on a diet,
Glenn , Glenn the big fat hen.
Cracked me up the first two hundred times.

Psych ward - bedroom in the middle
of the dining room.
Priceless.

Lose a few kilos:
Have you been on a diet?
Wow , you look great.
(Like you didn't before.)

Can relate - shortass, lofty, ducks disease, shorty, midget, personal leaning post (PLP), Leigh the flea, peewee Leigh, how's the weather down there? where's snow white? Never cracked me up. Started kicking shins, that soon sorted it. Then a girl who was shorter than me started school... I hated it, I had lost my 'point of difference' she grew, I loved it, and have never looked back. Thank you for sharing. :) See you at dinner on Thursday, looking forward to smashing a few plates.

Swan Thx
Leigh You too... I originally had more troubling things in this but decided to leave them out. Can't say I found any of these things funny either. Got them at home and school. When I think about the sheer number of times I heard them I have to wonder about their cumulative effect.
Heres to some great plate smashing this week, will be great to have a bit of a ftf chin wag again.

This is truth painfully so, especially the last, makes you wonder, was I invisable or just not there? Are they so blinded by societies perceptions that they didn't see..me? thanks for sharing..M

I love the title. very telling. you noted in a reply to a comment that you had more troubling things in there but left them out. please don't be afraid to include them. it's the cruelty and its effect you're going for here . . . the more dramatically you show the cruelty and the more powerful the impact. poetry on weight and body image moves so many people. you have no idea. thanks for sharing it!

Hum..Be a hateful, demeaning, dehumanizing scourge...or be big..ok..maybe even chunky. Bring on the thighs..at least I can sleep at night...I very much love this honest poem.
