Questianity 2B: Lord Of The Flies

i tire of inane questianity
religious certainty
misleading synchronicity
perfect ideality
factual pomposity
alternative reality
To Bill i say just let me be.

Its true i have an arrangement
with flies
but mosquitoes buzz and bite
scoffing at all entreaty
so i kill them.

The existence of a god
or eternal life
matter not one whit
if you live your life
best that you see fit.

By the way, and forgive me if this is a very stupid question, who is Bill?

He's a relatively unknown poet, who was once quite well known for lines such as
"To be or not to be..."
(two questions?)
HIs name was William Shakespeare.
Hope that helps :-P

Nicely written poem, creatively displaying your philosophy. As far as the message goes, it left me with these thoughts... Do we know what the best fit for our life is? Probably not. The best we can probably do is to be aware of our being, aware of this very present moment. "inane questianity" seems to be the result of all this "religious certainty"
"misleading synchronicity"
"perfect ideality"
"factual pomposity"
"alternative reality"

sometimes one must question all of these lies to see through to the truth in order to to "live best you see fit"

Best Regards, Travis

Hi Travis, I was in the frame of mind of - talking about it is not doing/being it. The only way to know some of the answers is to die, and even then its doubtful whether we can know anything.
Take care,
Glenn.
