Lighten Your Load: Go Easy On Yourself.

The light from a billion galaxies
Is eclipsed by your luminosity.
The Earth , attracted to your essence
Cannot think to leave your presence.
The moon, entranced, brings gifts of waves
And helps the sun to light your way.
So take the light and take the weight
And to yourself be true
The universe that you create
All comes back to you.

For some of us that could be a very scary prospect.

Yes indeed. But is it coming back or are you moving towards it?

Perhaps the universe does both, kinda like breathing. Anyway, I'm so small it makes no real difference to me!

Katy, you just keep concentrating on whats important! (lol) - Heres a quote for you - "Men are philosophers, Women are decoration" But seriously, thanks all for your comments

We are supposed to be the specks that make up this huge canvass that is the universe.

It does come back to us as we are each other's reflections. The universe is a mirror of each one of us.

You are so true in your poems, G!

Ian -Thanks, BTW you don't happen to have three plastic cage pieces in your car??
Abhay- Thanks again
Cecelia- in the mirror of your eyes I see me ( a chant from a hippy trippy festival I once went to - there were two large concentric circles of people facing each other and oyu had to walk around, look each person in the eyes and say that mantra. This was followed by a huge collective beehive of people all humming. And this was just the start of the day.) Haeven and hell are here on Earth now, and we are all only as good as the least of us.
Swan- You're welcome on both counts. It does seem we have a lot to be grateful for.
Bob-Thanks again.. it's probably the rhyme that got you (:-). I like your use of the word literally btw.

Given my upcoming workload, I should take that title to heart and consider reciting it to myself as a sort of mantra. *grin* Loved the first two lines especially; makes me feel special as I read it. ^_^ Cheers.

Hija Soulless, don't work too hard! You will always be special. You too Bradford. Can't make promises about that light though; the latest moon has really spent me.
