Another rainy Macy Gray
music dripping down
tearing, rendering anew
a wine bottle collage
harvests forgotten
Continued writing the book
"Everything I Ever Thought"
Unabridged, unadorned'
a manual of slothosophy
existential reality tactics
As I remember oneness
there is nothing to be relative
time stops and ego dissolves
Yet. There is a fluidity
in the rigidity
of still life.

The last lines reminded me of a poem by Mark Strand (some of his poems make me cry) which goes:
"Time tells what I am. I change and I am the same.
I empty myself of my life and my life remains."
Your work touched me, Glenn.
Even Nihilist could not condone
Me doing not but sitting home
Procrastination failed to fit
Into philosophical bit
So I came up with one of my own
One with which laziness was prone
I added some ideas, better yet
Making others responsible for my dept
So now I sit on my ass all day
Trying to get others to pay
Hmmmmm slothosophy, I think I've done that but wasn't sure what it was officailly called. I also like the ending very much. Take care,

Thanks Yasmin. She was two last week and my wife had her birthday as well. It seemed like a week of birthdays with grandparents each celebrating her birthday on consecutive days. She has really gotten to grips with the whole candle thing now. It's all been a bit chaotic with my son just learning to crawl as well- having to watch for every bit of paper or small toy on the floor. Such problems to have eh !!
